Mucho Más X Ross Compton
COLLABORATION PROJECT
2026
When the worlds of contemporary art and viticulture collide, the result is usually something special. But when I talked with the team at Mucho Más, we didn’t just want to create a label; we wanted to create a collection of artifacts.
I’m thrilled to finally share the results of our latest partnership: six entirely unique, hand-painted bottles, each serving as a standalone piece of art that houses an exceptional wine.
The Vision
Mucho Más has built a reputation on doing things differently—bold flavors, a modern aesthetic, and a philosophy of giving "much more" than expected. My work has always lived in that same space: vibrant, expressive, and unapologetically intentional. For this project, I treated the glass as a 360-degree canvas. Using the fluid lines and textured layers that define my style, I aimed to capture the "soul" of the wine inside.
Why This Partnership Worked
A successful collaboration is more than just putting a logo on a product. It’s about shared energy. This project succeeded because:
-
Craft Meets Craft: We both value the time it takes to get the "blend" just right—whether that’s a palette of acrylics or a palette of grapes.
-
Limited Edition Appeal: With only six unique designs in existence, we’ve bridged the gap between a dinner party staple and a collector’s item.
-
A Modern Aesthetic: The sleek, dark profile of Mucho Más red and the clean rosé provided the perfect high-contrast backdrop for my signature pops of color and movement.
"The goal wasn't just to make the wine look good; it was to make the bottle feel like it had a story to tell before you even pulled the cork."
The Results
These bottles represent a high-water mark for my recent commercial work. They are a testament to what happens when a brand trusts an artist’s intuition. Whether they end up on a gallery shelf or at the center of a table with friends, they embody the spirit of "Mucho Más"—more color, more life, and more art.
